The Met Costume Institute Gala 2012 Best Dressed

New York's favourite red carpet do The 2012 Met Ball was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 7.  Celebrities didn't disappoint wearing feathers, metallic dresses, peplum and neon dresses!  Kate Bosworth, Jessica Alba and Camilla Belle were among the celebs sporting the new 'wine-stained' lip trend, something tells me you need to keep the rest of your make up minimal if you are going to try this to avoid the over the top gothic look!

Macdonald Townhouse Hotel, Manchester

Blogging from the Macdonald Townhouse Hotel in Manchester city centre, a recently refurbished boutique hotel and it’s really quite cute!  I’ve made myself comfortable in their bar & restaurant lounge area on a few occasions now, with a smoked salmon sandwich and latte – yum.  So if you’re ever looking for a stop over in Manchester I recommend this one, rooms start from £82 a night and there is currently a 25% off Spring Offer!  Here are some photos below so you can make up your own mind ;-)…
